Dogpool, also known as Wilson, is a canine counterpart to the popular Marvel anti-hero, Deadpool. He originates from Earth-103173.
Dogpool was once a test animal used by the Eskimo Labs cosmetic testing company. Enduring horrific experimentation, he was subjected to various cosmetic products. During one of these tests, he was exposed to an experimental formula designed to restore youth and vitality. Instead, the formula, likely containing a variation of the Weapon X program's healing factor, granted him regenerative abilities and immortality.
His appearance is similar to a Jack Russell Terrier but with severe scarring from his experiments. Like Deadpool, Dogpool possesses a chaotic and irreverent personality. He often breaks the fourth wall, acknowledging his existence as a comic book character.
Dogpool eventually escaped Eskimo Labs and became a member of the Deadpool Corps, a team of Deadpool variants from across the multiverse. He has participated in numerous interdimensional adventures alongside other Deadpool counterparts like Lady Deadpool, Kidpool, and Headpool.
